This scheme was inspired by too many things to list in a reasonably short read me, among them my desire for an interface that felt light and airy. Lucid means clear ﾐ I wanted to try to give a sense of space, hence the simple floating elements with drop shadows. Be comes from the Be WDEF, which was used to provide the non-standard window shapes in the scheme. Be also just means what it says. Be Lucid is good advice; easy to say, hard to do.
Be Lucid is metashareware; it is not free. To register Be Lucid all you have to do is register some other shareware you use on a regular basis. You donﾕt even have to tell me; youﾕll know if you have or not. If you havenﾕt yet registered Kaleidoscope, that comes first! If youﾕve already registered all the shareware you use regularly, youﾕre set.
There are a few cosmetic problems due to my failure to make sufficient compromises between what I wanted to do and what Kaleidoscope will let me do, but thatﾕs life. At least one of them seems to be a Kaleidoscope bug, so it remains partly in hope of a fix in a future Kaleidoscope release.
